Morcos Key partnered with the Diriyah Biennale Foundation to design the visual identity for the 2025 Islamic Arts Biennale in Jeddah, titled وما بينهما — And All That Is In Between. Drawing on Qur’anic expressions of the liminal—between heaven and earth, east and west—the identity embraces fluidity, openness, and continuity. Spanning five exhibition halls and outdoor spaces across 100,000 m², the biennale brings together over 500 historical objects and 29 contemporary commissions. The typographic system, rooted in Arabic lettering and multi-script design, extends through graphics, signage, and catalogues. With the tatweel as a visual metaphor, gallery names stretch across compositions to evoke transformation and timeless connection, linking past and present in the spirit of the biennale’s curatorial vision.
